Gregory Thayer dies in fatal Crawford County tractor accident
Fatal Crawford County tractor accident death of Gregory Thayer – Obituary.
Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who tragically lost his life when a tractor overturned. Crawford County Coroner Eric Coston reported that 68-year-old Gregory Thayer was declared dead at the scene of the incident.
The accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Monday at Thayer’s property located on Route 408, just east of Cambridge Springs. Coston revealed that Thayer was operating a Brush Hog when the tractor became bogged down in mud.
In an attempt to free the stuck vehicle, he used a second tractor, which unfortunately flipped over onto him.
