Trinity Russell dies in fatal Pottawatomie County incident
Fatal Pottawatomie County crash death of Trinity Russell – Obituary
Trinity Russell, a 23-year-old woman from Shawnee, died after falling out of a pickup truck in Pottawatomie County on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Kimes Avenue, just south of Brinkley Road near Macomb.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Russell was sitting on the windowsill and hanging out the back of the truck when she fell onto the road. Emergency responders transported her to a hospital in Shawnee, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver, a 20-year-old man who remained at the scene, was arrested on multiple charges, including first-degree manslaughter and driving under the influence. Authorities noted that a trooper detected the smell of alcohol on the driver, leading to his arrest.
The case remains under investigation by local authorities.
