Fatal Columbus hit-and-run death of Richy Pierre – Obituary
A pedestrian tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run incident early Sunday morning in Columbus. Richy Pierre, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene around 3 a.m. after being struck by a vehicle while walking near West Dublin Granville Road and Sawmill Place Boulevard, according to local police.
Authorities suspect that the driver involved was operating a white Scion xD, model year 2013 or 2014, heading east on West Granville Road when the collision occurred. The driver fled the scene shortly after the incident.
