Iowa State Patrol reported a deadly collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred in Cedar County over the weekend. The motorcyclist who lost his life in the incident has been identified as 56-year-old James Harold Huston from Wilton, Iowa. Huston was operating a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle at the time of the crash.
The accident took place on Saturday at the intersection of Taylor Avenue and 325th Street. According to the investigation, a car did not stop at a stop sign, leading to the motorcycle colliding with the passenger side of the vehicle.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
