Denice Willden, a 34-year-old woman, was tragically killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Tooele County, as confirmed by her family. Her older sister, Amie Carley, described their close bond, saying they spent a lot of time together throughout their lives, even working side by side as adults. “On my hardest days, she could always lift my spirits,” Carley shared. “She was simply the best.”
On the day of the accident, Willden had not been in contact with anyone, prompting concern from her employer. The Tooele County Sheriff’s Office received reports of the rollover incident on Mormon Trail Road near Rush Valley. Carley recounted that Willden’s boyfriend learned about the accident through news reports and rushed to the scene to see if she was involved.
Authorities confirmed that Willden, the sole occupant of the vehicle, had died at the scene. She leaves behind two children, aged three and 15. “She was a dedicated mother who would do anything for her kids and family. She was thoughtful and helpful—an incredible person,” Carley stated.
In response to their loss, a GoFundMe page has been established to support her children during this difficult time. The Tooele County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, and Carley suspects her sister may have been driving while distracted. She urges drivers to remain vigilant on the road.
“Cherish your family and friends. While driving, focus on what you’re doing,” Carley emphasized.
