Fatal Manitowoc County crash death of Kenneth S. Puetz – Obituary.
The individuals involved in a tragic accident in western Manitowoc County last week have been named. On September 23, Sheriff Dan Hartwig revealed that the victim was 72-year-old Kenneth S. Puetz from Kiel.
Puetz was behind the wheel of a Ford Focus when a Volkswagen Jetta, operated by 18-year-old Anthony D. Mahloch of Malone, collided with him at the intersection of County Highway X and Louis Corners Road last Friday morning, September 20.
Puetz was declared dead at the scene, while Mahloch sustained serious injuries and was transported to ThedaCare in Neenah, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Sheriff Hartwig expressed condolences on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office, stating, “We offer our deepest sympathies to those affected by this tragic incident.” The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
