Fatal Manitowoc County car crash death of Kenneth Puetz – Obituary.
The identities of the victims involved in a tragic accident on Friday morning, September 20, have been confirmed by Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig. The 72-year-old, driving a 2018 Ford Focus, has been identified as Kenneth Puetz. The 18-year-old, operating a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta and succumbing to his injuries from the incident, has been named as Anthony Mahloch.
Emergency services and deputies from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of a head-on collision at the intersection of CTH X and Louis Corners Road in the Township of Schleswig at approximately 4:54 a.m.
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that Mahloch was traveling east on CTH X when he collided with Puetz, who was heading west. Unfortunately, Puetz was pronounced dead at the scene.
