Stephen Stevens dies in fatal Burnett County motorcycle crash
Fatal Burnett County motorcycle crash death of Stephen Stevens – Obituary.
A 64-year-old man, Stephen Stevens, lost his life after a tire on his motorcycle blew out on State Road 70, near Fosmo Drive, just east of Siren, Wisconsin, according to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Friday as a group of motorcyclists was traveling eastbound along State Road 70. One of the motorcyclists, Stevens, was ejected from his bike when his tire suddenly failed. Unfortunately, he did not survive the crash.
In an effort to avoid a collision, two other riders laid their motorcycles down. One passenger was injured in the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
