The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that Robert Magel, a 64-year-old motorcycle operator from Deforest, lost his life in an accident that occurred last weekend. The Medical Examiner reported that Magel succumbed to injuries sustained during the incident, with a forensic examination completed on September 22, while further tests are ongoing.
Emergency responders declared Magel dead at the scene of the accident, which took place around 3:45 p.m. on September 21 at the intersection of North Stoughton Road and Rieder Road. Witnesses indicated that he was ejected from his motorcycle while attempting to make a turn in that area.
