The York County coroner’s office has confirmed the identity of the 61-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a crash over the weekend. Susan Lam was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
The two-vehicle collision took place around 6 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Mt. Airy Road and Buchanan Avenue in Shrewsbury Township. Reports indicate that Lam’s vehicle collided with another car that was carrying two individuals. Those two occupants were subsequently transported to the hospital, but their current condition remains unknown.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, and Mt. Airy Road was closed for several hours following the crash.
