IJa’haile Clendinen dies in fatal St. Thomas shooting
Fatal St. Thomas shooting death of Ja’haile Clendinen – Obituary.
A shooting incident in the Sugar Estate area resulted in the death of 21-year-old Ja’haile Clendinen on Wednesday, as confirmed by the Virgin Islands Police Department.
Emergency responders received a 911 alert about gunfire near First Street around 5:52 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found Clendinen unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of Emergency Medical Technicians to assess his vital signs, he was declared dead at 6:08 p.m. after no signs of life were found.
The Major Crimes Unit of the VIPD is actively investigating the case, but no suspects have been identified so far.
