A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning in Moncks Corner, resulting in the death of Rascheen Pinckney, 46, from Cross. According to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, the crash took place on Old Whitesville Road around 3:29 a.m.
Pinckney was driving a 2014 Mercedes Sedan when he veered off the road and collided with a tree. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
