Olvin Jaziel Ramirez-Pena dies in fatal Louisville stabbing near Petersburg Park
Fatal Louisville stabbing death of Olvin Jaziel Ramirez-Pena – Obituary.
Olvin Jaziel Ramirez-Pena, 28, was discovered dead from multiple stab wounds near Petersburg Park in Louisville’s Newburg neighborhood on Monday. The Jefferson County Coroner’s office identified the victim. Ramirez-Pena had been reported missing late Saturday night, and his body was located in a wooded area two days later around noon.
During the investigation, police identified Miguel Andrade Giron, also 28 and a resident of Louisville, as a person of interest. According to authorities, Giron shared a residence with the victim. He was arrested on unrelated charges on the same day Ramirez-Pena’s body was found. Upon searching Giron’s truck, police allegedly discovered blood in his vehicle and on his clothing.
Giron is now facing charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence. His court appearance is scheduled for October.
