Fatal Jamaica Plain shooting death of Quami J. Clarke – Obituary.
BOSTON — A man who was fatally shot in Jamaica Plain on the night of September 23 has been identified by authorities. Following the activation of a Shot Spotter and subsequent reports of gunfire, police responded to the scene at 277 Centre Street around 9:22 p.m.
Officers from District E-13 discovered 19-year-old Quami J. Clarke with multiple gunshot injuries. Clarke, a resident of Boston, was rushed to a nearby hospital by Boston EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Those with details can reach the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
