Fatal west Charlotte pedestrian crash death of Thermon Beaufort – Obituary
Thermon Beaufort, 65, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in west Charlotte on Saturday night, September 28, 2024.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on the 3000 block of Freedom Drive, near Advance Auto Parts. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrived to find Beaufort in the road with severe injuries and a nearby Toyota displaying front-end damage. Beaufort was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities believe Beaufort was attempting to cross Freedom Drive when the collision took place. The investigation is ongoing.
