Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man who died in a motorcycle accident in Jonesboro on September 30 as 34-year-old Scott Anthony Prine. The crash occurred at approximately 4:48 p.m. on North Old Greensboro Road (Highway 351) near Peachtree Avenue.
According to the initial report from police, Prine was riding a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle when it collided with a 2007 Nissan Sentra driven by 31-year-old Yasmine Lynch. Prine sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, Lynch was not injured in the incident.
The police report did not provide any further details regarding the cause of the collision, and the investigation is ongoing.
