The Austin Police Department has confirmed that 28-year-old Kameron Hartman was killed in a tragic accident on September 25 in east Austin. The collision occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, involving two vehicles that struck Hartman.
Following the incident, the driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement. However, the second driver left the scene without stopping or reporting the accident. Hartman was pronounced dead at the site of the crash.
