Police have identified the biker who tragically lost his life in a collision on the A702 in South Lanarkshire as Allan Robertson, aged 58. Emergency services responded to the scene near Elvanfoot at approximately 12:20 on September 22, following reports of an accident involving an orange Triumph motorcycle. Robertson was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation and have called on any drivers with dash-cam footage to come forward. Constable Graeme Marshall from the Road Policing Unit expressed condolences, stating, “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr. Robertson as they come to terms with their loss.”
