Alec J. Ricci dies in fatal Adirondacks motorcycle crash
Fatal Adirondacks motorcycle crash death of Alec J. Ricci – Obituary.
Alec J. Ricci, 27, of Rochester, died last Friday after being thrown from his motorcycle while traveling on Route 86 in North Elba, Essex County. According to New York State Police, Ricci failed to navigate a curve at around 11:50 a.m., leading to the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ricci’s obituary highlighted his adventurous spirit and love for activities such as fishing, camping, snowboarding, and riding his motorcycle. He was also remembered for his career in fabricating and welding, notably working on race cars, and for his infectious personality. Ricci is survived by his family, including his parents and siblings.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home in Webster. Police continue to investigate the accident.
