Durelle Moxley Jr. dies in fatal Louisville shooting
The fatal shooting of Durelle Moxley Jr., 18, occurred in the Park Hill neighborhood of Louisville on Monday night.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s office, Moxley died from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Bolling Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. following a ShotSpotter alert that later escalated to a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Moxley outside a residence, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation, but as of now, no suspects have been apprehended and no arrests have been made. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the department’s anonymous Crime Tip Line.
