Fatal Triangle shooting death of Quatrail Raynard Smalls – Obituary
Authorities have apprehended a second suspect in connection with a homicide that occurred in Triangle, Virginia, back in November 2023. Keavon Teddrick Coleman, a 27-year-old resident of Woodbridge, was arrested on Monday in Alexandria by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He is facing charges for using a firearm during a felony and robbery, with a court date yet to be announced.
Previously, Tyus James Terrell from Fredericksburg was identified as the first suspect shortly after the tragic incident. Following a manhunt that included a $10,000 reward, Terrell was captured by the U.S. Marshals on July 10 in the vicinity of Dale Boulevard and Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge. He has been charged with murder, the use of a firearm in a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and is currently held without bond.
The incident in question took place around 8:41 p.m. on November 14, 2023, in the 3700 block of Wharf Lane in Triangle. Upon arrival, officers found Smalls on the ground and administered aid. He was transported to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Investigators believe that the shooting resulted from an altercation between individuals who were acquainted with one another.
