Authorities have identified a woman who tragically lost her life in a pedestrian accident in Victorville. Rosalva Fuentes, 63, was struck by a vehicle on the evening of Sunday, September 29, 2024, around 7:13 PM near the intersection of La Mesa Road and Evelyn Court.
Initial reports indicate that a blue Kia Optima was involved in the incident. Fuentes sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Kia remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
As a result of the investigation, La Mesa Road was closed for several hours. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the accident to contact Deputy R. Castillo at the Victorville Police Station at 760-241-2911.
