Fatal Peru SUV collision death of Cynthia L. Murphy – Obituary
Cynthia L. Murphy, a 56-year-old woman from Peru, tragically lost her life when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at the intersection of Route 22 and Brand Hallow Road. New York State troopers responded to the scene around 4:30 PM on Wednesday. The investigation revealed that a white 2022 Hyundai Tucson traveling south on Route 22 collided with Murphy. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The state police accident reconstruction unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are currently looking into the incident.
