A tragic domestic violence incident in Columbus has led to the death of 32-year-old Mariama Bah, who was allegedly killed by her husband, Hassana Jalloh, 55. The event unfolded on Thursday morning at their home on Yorkhull Lane, where Jalloh reportedly used a knife and a hammer in the attack.
Columbus police responded to a call regarding domestic violence shortly before 9:20 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Bah unresponsive, suffering from significant blunt force trauma. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene at 9:37 a.m.
Jalloh has been charged with aggravated murder and premeditated aggravated murder. According to court documents, he informed dispatchers that he waited until their children had left for school before committing the act.
