Jose Angel Ruan Lopez dies in fatal San Diego motorcycle crash
Fatal San Diego motorcycle crash death of Jose Angel Ruan Lopez – Obituary.
A 20-year-old motorcyclist has been identified as the victim of a collision that occurred earlier this week in Otay Mesa. Local medical officials report that Jose Angel Ruan Lopez lost his life in the incident on Enrico Fermi Drive, north of Otay Mesa Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Ruan Lopez was riding his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle around 4:40 a.m. when he struck a yellow box truck that was disabled and parked along the east curb for reasons still under investigation.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained severe injuries, resulting in his death at the scene.
In response to the crash, authorities closed Enrico Fermi Drive northbound while they conducted their investigation.
