Fatal Meredith fire death of Timothy Huckins – Obituary
On Monday afternoon, Timothy Huckins, aged 54, tragically lost his life in a house fire in Meredith. Firefighters were dispatched to the residence located at 203 Pease Road around 4 p.m., responding to reports that two individuals were trapped inside the home. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke and flames emanating from the second floor.
While two residents managed to escape the blaze unharmed, firefighters discovered Huckins deceased inside the structure. Following an autopsy conducted by the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office, it was determined that Huckins died from natural causes, as confirmed by officials on Tuesday.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting an investigation, alongside the local fire and police departments, with assistance from nine other agencies in the Lakes Region.
