Fatal Clearfield County crash death of Scott A. Hockenberry – Obituary.
A tragic incident on Thursday, October 3, in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, resulted in the death of 47-year-old Scott A. Hockenberry from Houtzdale. According to the Clearfield County Coroner, Hockenberry was involved in a two-vehicle collision on State Route 153.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Hockenberry crossed the centerline of the road for reasons that are still unknown and subsequently collided with a truck. The Chief Deputy Coroner, Gil Stevenson, pronounced him dead at the scene at 4:55 p.m.
The area surrounding the accident was closed for an extended period for cleanup and investigation but has since reopened. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
