Fatal Paterson scooter accident death of Angelvl Javier-Reynos – Obituary.
Authorities have confirmed the identity of the 18-year-old man who was tragically killed while riding a scooter in Paterson on the night of October 2. Angelvl Javier-Reynos was on the scooter with another 18-year-old resident when they were struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of 9th and Madison avenues, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi.
Javier-Reynos was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other rider sustained non-fatal injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, who had valid driving credentials, remained at the scene and was not injured. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
