Fatal Oceanside crash death of Karl Trayvilla – Obituary
Karl Trayvilla, a 30-year-old motorcyclist, has been identified as the victim of a tragic accident that occurred last weekend in Oceanside. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, he died in the collision on Coast Highway, just south of West Street.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon when Trayvilla, who was wearing a helmet, was traveling southbound. His motorcycle’s front wheel collided with the rear wheel of another motorcycle in front of him, as reported by Oceanside police.
Both riders were ejected from their motorcycles, and Trayvilla was subsequently run over by a Toyota Yaris, which was also heading south on Coast Highway. The other rider continued past the car and crashed into the side of a different vehicle.
Trayvilla was transported to a hospital but succumbed to significant head and chest injuries. The other rider was treated at the scene, while the drivers of the vehicles involved were unharmed.
