A tragic single-vehicle crash occurred on Fisher Ferry in Claiborne County, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Kirk Ford. The accident was reported shortly after 2 a.m. near 13680 Fisher Ferry. Emergency responders from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and firemedics arrived at the scene and found that the vehicle had struck a tree after leaving the roadway.
Ford was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male driver was airlifted to a hospital in Hattiesburg and is currently in critical condition.
