Authorities have confirmed the identity of the victim involved in a tragic collision between a Jeep and a motor scooter in Paterson on Wednesday night, which also resulted in injuries to another individual. The incident occurred around 7:55 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Avenue and Madison Avenue, as reported by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
At the scene, it was determined that two 18-year-olds, Angelvl Javier-Reynos and another male, were riding a scooter when they collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Javier-Reynos succumbed to his injuries from the crash, while his companion was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. The Jeep driver, who was unhurt, remained at the site and had a valid driver’s license.
