Fatal Danville, Kentucky, crash death of Antonio Lancaster – Obituary
A tragic accident involving a utility pole resulted in the death of Antonio Lancaster. According to the Danville Police Department, officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident on S. 3rd Street near Triangle Mart at 1:29 a.m. on Wednesday.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered the 28-year-old Lancaster unconscious. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Reports indicate that Lancaster was operating a Ford Focus when he lost control of the vehicle and collided head-on with a utility pole.
The incident led to the closure of Hustonville Road leading to Triangle Mart while police conducted their investigation, but the roadway was reopened around 7:30 a.m. Authorities are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
