Fatal Henrico County shooting death of Darnell Lee Porter – Obituary
Authorities in Henrico County, Virginia, have identified Rudy Devon Fuller, 34, as the suspect in a double shooting that occurred on October 4, leaving one person dead and another in critical condition. Police are warning that Fuller, who is from Richmond, is considered armed and dangerous.
Officers responded to reports of the shooting around 8:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike. Upon arrival, they discovered Darnell Lee Porter, 44, from Henrico, along with another man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Porter later succumbed to his injuries, while the status of the second victim remains unclear.
Fuller is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder, malicious wounding, using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities urge anyone with information on Fuller’s whereabouts to contact Detective J. Lozak at 804-501-5588.
