Fatal College Hill shooting death of Danias Weaver – Obituary
Cincinnati police have confirmed that 23-year-old Danias Weaver was fatally shot on Monday afternoon in College Hill. Authorities responded to the scene on Llanfair Avenue around 1 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Weaver with a single gunshot wound.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by the Cincinnati Fire Department, Weaver was pronounced dead at the location. Following the incident, nearby schools, including Aiken High School and College Hill Fundamental Academy, were briefly placed on lockout, a precaution that has since been lifted, according to officials from Cincinnati Public Schools.
The Cincinnati Police Department has initiated an investigation into the shooting. They are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out to the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
