Fatal Millard County car crash death of Melissa MacDonald and 10-year-old boy – Obituary
Melissa MacDonald, 55, from North Miami, Florida, and a 10-year-old boy have been identified as the victims in a tragic wrong-way collision on I-15 near the I-70 junction in Millard County. The crash occurred early Thursday morning at approximately 5:15 a.m. when MacDonald’s Toyota Corolla, traveling south in the northbound lane, collided head-on with a northbound Dodge truck.
MacDonald died at the scene, as did the young boy, who was a passenger in the Dodge truck. The truck’s driver and two other juvenile passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to multiple hospitals. Authorities confirmed that all involved were wearing seatbelts. The Utah Department of Public Safety is continuing its investigation into the crash.
