Authorities have confirmed the identities of two residents from Bristol who tragically lost their lives in a recent vehicle accident in Burlington. Tiffany Cormier, 39, and Russell Bunn, 60, both perished in the incident that occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on October 12, as reported by the Connecticut State Police.
According to the police, Cormier was operating a 2012 Ford Taurus SEL when she lost control of the vehicle, veering off the road, hitting a mailbox, and subsequently crashing into a tree. The car subsequently ignited.
Bunn, who was a passenger in the car, was also pronounced dead at the scene alongside Cormier. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are still ongoing.
