The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified William Flanary, a 24-year-old from Brookfield, as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred on Friday night in Sun Prairie. Flanary was pronounced dead at the scene, which took place in the 500 block of Martin Street.
He was one of two individuals shot during the incident; the second victim sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a hospital.
