Roman Mazur dies in fatal Buffalo Grove crash
Fatal Buffalo Grove crash death of Roman Mazur – Obituary
Roman Mazur, an 87-year-old resident of Buffalo Grove, was tragically killed on Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Buffalo Grove Road and Larraway Drive. The Lake County Coroner’s Office reported that Mazur died from blunt force injuries sustained in the accident.
Emergency services responded to the scene around 8 a.m. and found Mazur had been hit by a gray Toyota driven by a 60-year-old woman from Buffalo Grove. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluation.
The Buffalo Grove police, along with the Major Crash Assistance Team of Lake County, are investigating the incident, but as of now, no charges or citations have been issued.
