Fatal Lewisville workplace shooting death of Tamhara Collazo – Obituary
Tamhara Collazo, a coworker at Allegiance Trucking, was fatally shot at her desk on October 17, 2024, by 51-year-old Travis Merrill. The incident took place on Lakeway Drive in Lewisville, Texas. Police responded quickly and detained Merrill, who admitted to being upset over Collazo’s long breaks and his obsession with her.
Merrill, who had been told by Collazo to stop watching her during breaks, planned the shooting after practicing with firearms at home. He is currently held in Denton County Jail on a $10 million bond.
