Aldes Merancier dies in fatal Greenacres pedestrian accident
Fatal Greenacres pedestrian accident death of Aldes Merancier – Obituary
Aldes Merancier, 65, lost his life after being struck by an SUV in Greenacres, Florida, on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Lantana Road, between Brentwood Boulevard and Jog Road, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Merancier, a Lake Worth resident, was crossing Lantana Road outside of a crosswalk when he stepped into the path of an Acura MDX traveling westbound. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the accident.
