Investigators reported that a 2019 Ford F-250, which was towing farming equipment, was making a turn onto the road from a field when it collided with a 2001 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, identified as George Wood Jr. from Burbank, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities noted that Wood was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the Ford, a 42-year-old man from Creston, did not sustain any injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol indicated that there were no indications of drug or alcohol involvement, and the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
