Adrian Jimenez, a 15-year-old, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident in Randolph County on October 22. The crash occurred early Sunday morning around 5 a.m. on US-220 Business, near Cedar Grove Road, when Jimenez was driving a Ford SUV.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, he crossed the centerline, veered off the road, struck a tree, and subsequently overturned. Jimenez was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
