Tavares Deone Moore dies in fatal Bessemer shooting
Fatal Bessemer shooting death of Tavares Deone Moore – Obituary
Authorities in Bessemer are actively searching for a suspect following the shooting death of 44-year-old Tavares Deone Moore on Thursday night. According to the Jefferson County coroner, Moore was shot multiple times around 8:56 p.m. on 9th Avenue North. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
The Bessemer Police Department identified 20-year-old Kalil Judkins as the suspect in the shooting on Friday. A murder warrant has been issued for Judkins, who remains at large, and police are urging him to surrender.
