Cameron Gianconna dies in fatal Jefferson County vehicle-pedestrian accident
Fatal Jefferson County vehicle-pedestrian death of Cameron Gianconna – Obituary.
New York State Police are currently looking into a tragic vehicle-pedestrian incident that resulted in the death of 16-year-old Cameron Gianconna from Evans Mills.
The accident occurred around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, when State Police in Watertown responded to a call regarding a pedestrian who had been struck on State Route 342 in the Town of LeRay.
According to the preliminary investigation, a 2006 Chevrolet HHR, driven by 63-year-old Robert Brierton from Calcium, was heading west on State Route 342 when it hit Gianconna, who was lying in the road.
Gianconna was declared dead at the scene, and the investigation remains active. State Police received assistance from the Calcium Fire Department, Black River Fire Department, and Fort Drum EMS at the location.
