Rebecca Ann Peterson, a 41-year-old resident of Duluth, was identified as the victim of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 on Saturday. While driving a Honda Pilot northbound near County Road 61, at the boundary between Carlton and St. Louis counties, Peterson reportedly lost control of her vehicle.
Her car veered off the roadway and collided with several trees before stopping in a wooded area south of the freeway, according to information provided by the Minnesota State Patrol.
