Fatal Belmont Harbor shooting death of Adher Luna – Obituary
Adher Luna, 22, of Cicero, Illinois, was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning at Belmont Harbor in Chicago. Around 12:40 a.m., Luna and another 22-year-old man were attacked while in a parking lot on the 3500 block of North Belmont Harbor Drive, where an individual in an SUV fired at them.
Luna was struck in the head and was declared dead at the scene. The second victim, who suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and left arm, was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, where he remains under intensive care.
Currently, no arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting is unclear. Chicago’s Area 3 detectives are leading the investigation and working to uncover details surrounding this tragic event.
