Fatal Limestone County crash death of James R. Rouse – Obituary.
James R. Rouse, a 56-year-old man, has been identified as the victim of a tragic single-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Limestone County. The incident happened when Rouse was driving a 1993 Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the crash took place on Salem Minor Hill Road, about four miles south of Lester. Rouse lost control of the vehicle, which left the road, struck a ditch, overturned, and subsequently collided with a utility pole. It was noted that Rouse was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Rouse was transported to Athens Limestone Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
