Edher Yaioluna dies in fatal Lakeview shooting
Fatal Lakeview shooting death of Edher Yaioluna – Obituary.
In a tragic incident just after midnight on Saturday, a man from Cicero was killed, and another was injured at Belmont Harbor in Lakeview. At approximately 12:40 a.m., both 22-year-old men were standing in a parking area on the 3500 block of N. Belmont Harbor Drive when gunfire erupted from a dark-colored SUV.
One of the men sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner’s office later identified him as Edher Yaioluna and ruled his death a homicide. The second man was shot in the left arm and chest and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he is reported to be in critical condition.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting.
