Fatal Beach Park motorcycle crash death of Daniel Davis – Obituary
A deadly motorcycle accident occurred late Friday night in Beach Park, Illinois, claiming the life of Daniel Davis, a 56-year-old local resident. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place around 11:15 p.m. near Green Bay Road and Aviation Drive.
Authorities reported that Davis was riding a 2007 Suzuki GSXR600 southbound on Green Bay Road when he collided with a 2022 Kia Rio. The Kia was attempting a left turn onto Chaplin Street when Davis’s motorcycle hit the vehicle’s passenger side. Witnesses on the scene indicated that the motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed.
Upon impact, Davis was thrown from his motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the site. The coroner’s office later confirmed his identity and stated that blunt force trauma from the crash led to his death.
The driver of the Kia, a 28-year-old man, and his 23-year-old female passenger, both from Beach Park, were uninjured. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Team is continuing its inquiry into the accident.
