Authorities have confirmed that 44-year-old Christopher Tomlinson from Duncannon was killed in a motorcycle accident near Newport on Friday night. The Perry County Coroner stated that Tomlinson died from blunt-force trauma, and his death has been classified as an accident.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Keystone Way at Pine Grove Road in Centre Township. According to the State Police at Newport, Tomlinson was riding his 2015 Harley-Davidson northbound on Keystone Way (PA-34) when he veered off the road and lost control of the motorcycle. He was thrown from the bike and sustained life-threatening injuries, ultimately being pronounced dead while in the ambulance. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
